Happy New Year from the Surly Dragon team!
2016 looks to be a big year for us.
In addition to our podcast postings (which will resume very shortly), we’re looking to make two conference appearances this year. A return to AwesomeCon DC is in the planning phases as is a trip to the west coast for Seattle’s Emerald City Comicon.
There will be an update about the Seattle panel at the end of January and the DC panels should be determined sometime in the Spring (I don’t know why it takes them so long to get that taken care of).
I’ll also be posting the videos from last year’s AwesomeCon sessions in the coming weeks, so be prepared to be semi-amused.
Thanks to folks who came to out to the Virtual Gaming Technology 101 panel at AwesomeCon DC 2015 today. As advertised, here are some useful links to some of the goodies we talked about today:

More to come!
Discussing US foreign policy with John Rhys-Davies.
Also, he tickled me. Literally. Why?
Great news! The Surly Dragon team will be presenting two panels at AwesomeCon DC 2015.
Saturday-May 30th – Join us for our panel @ 11:00 AM, Virtual Gaming Technology 101
Sunday-May 31st – Join us for our panel @ 10:30 AM, Virtual Gaming Technology Live!
More news to follow!
As you might have noticed, there’s a slightly new look to the site. I’ve added a new title graphic and moved the header around just a bit to adjust to the new banner. I’ve been working on some new graphics in anticipation of AwesomeCon 2015 and decided to go ahead and built a few into the site. You have to admit, the title does look a little more “dragony” now.
Let me know what you think!
